Hawk-Woods PCX-3

The PCX-3 is a unique two-pin Power-Con plug. Once plugged into your device and powering the equipment it’s wired to, the PCX-3 gives you the equipments female socket back again. This internal version of the D-Tap output allows additional hardware to be plugged into a single socket. Ideal if you need to run a lamp plus additional hardware from a device with a single output.

Power-Con is the Hawk-Woods version of the popular D-Tap type plug, often also referred to as ‘Anton Bauer type’ or ‘P-Tap’. These plugs are very popular in the broadcast industry and often fitted to camera lamp cables.

The PCX-3 can be used in conjunction with the many other cables and connectors we also produce. These include Power-Con female, Hirose, BP-90 and XLR variations.

Please note.  Your external equipment must be wired/soldered into the PCX-3 before you can use it.
