LCDVFe by KINOTEHNIK is a universal production grade viewfinder and image processor to be used with any camera with HDMI output.

Main advantages of LCDVFe:

• Altera FPGA based architecture. No latency: capable of real-time image analysis and scaling, providing also ultra-fast startup time and resolution switching.

• Advanced ergonomics. Easily adjustable mounting with built in broadcast style friction tilt function. No time lost when re-positioning or re-configuring the EVF. Unit can be fully operated with just one hand - opening the flip-up eyepiece, changing battery pack etc.

• Flexible power options. Use of standard AA batteries ensures that you never run out of power, even in remote locations. The design of battery compartment avoids battery drain in extreme cold. Wide external power range makes use of any external batteries or DC adaptors ranging from 4-17V.

• Intelligent power management. Hardware architecture supports intelligent power suspend and shutdown, also wake-up on camera signal when suspended. LED indicator light provides feedback of LCDVFe power status. No risks of accidental battery drain.

• Completely silent operation. Design of the control buttons allows totally silent operation while recording.

• Quick-action diopter adjustment allows fast and precise dial from -2 to +2, avoiding any accidental settings and unwanted eyestrain often associated with non-standard adjustment solutions.

• Wide-angle achromatic eyepiece: Significant advantages of 50mm diameter optics are wide viewing angle, generous eye relief and exceptional image quality - even when viewing off axis. Use of achromatic lens pair ensures that the image is sharp and distortion-free even at the edges. The eyepiece accepts optional diopter lenses with standard 46mm thread.
