Production Gear are based at Studio 2000, formerly Millennium Studios Elstree

VideoGear.co.uk is the online sales arm of Production Gear Ltd, importer, distributer and dealer of professional film and television production equipment.  We are a UK based company working from the former MIllennium Film Studios in Elstree, Hertfordshire. 

Our customer base is as broad as our product range, we supply to broadcasters, freelancers and prosumers as well as universities, colleges schools and police / military clients.  Our extensive stock holding ensures we can despatch and fulfil customer orders quickly and efficiently and meet any urgent deadlines that you may have.

The Production Gear Team:



Since 1993 Simon has worked in the industry in a number of roles including sales, rental and equipment service as a Sachtler factory trained technician.

A keen filmmaker Simon has a particular interest in natural history and can be found tutoring on the popular Wildeye wildlife filmmaking training courses.

His kit currently includes a Sony PMW-EX1 video camera and various DSLR's including Canon EOS550D, Nikon D90 and Nikon D3.



A graduate in Film and Television technology Dru's interests include football, football and football.

Dru oversees all of our stock, goods in and out and shipping your orders anywhere and everywhere in the world.



Having worked in first the photographic and then the film and video industry for over 20 years Edward has an extensive knowledge of broadcast and film and television production equipment.

A keen fisherman and steam train enthusiast Edward also makes his own films using his Panasonic HMC-151, Redrock Micro M2E depth of field adapter and his homemade 'big red jib'.



Having graduated from university with a degree in photography and graphic design Steve has spent the last ten years specialising in lens accessories.

Affectionately known as 'Lord of the Rings' - Steve is our resident Mattebox and filter expert and will share his experience with you to help specify the perfect set up for your needs.

Steve has fully embraced the DSLR revolution and shoots stills and video on a Canon EOS -7D.



Julie rules over the companies accounts with an Iron Fist.  Julie practises Ju-Jitsu and some say taught Bruce Lee all he knows, either way we know not to mess with this capable lady.



An active musician and a demon on the guitar Pat is naturally our Audio expert.

Pat is a very technical chap and is happy to advise you on all aspects of digital video from production to post production.
